Rimblades® Rimsavers - Single

RIMSAVERS RIM PROTECTORS BY RIMBLADES® ARE DESIGNED TO ADD A PROTECTIVE TRIM RING TO THE OUTER EDGE OF ALLOY WHEELS TO ACT AS A BUFFER WHEN THAT INEVITABLE KERB DAMAGE DOES OCCUR AND OFFER OUR HIGHEST LEVEL OF PROTECTION ON FLAT WHEELS. 

THIS LISTING IS A SINGLE WHEEL KIT IF YOU NEED TO REPLACE JUST 1 WHEEL OR SO. IT IS NOT A FULL SET. WE DO NOT SUPPLY THESE IN MULTIPLES TO TRADE CUSTOMERS. 

They are a similar profile as Rimblades® Light, but made from a harder grade of plastic that offers more strength. Once installed, they are tight fitting to the wheel and are like a hard shell around the rim surface.

CONSTRUCTION

Rimsavers are made from a near rigid plastic, that if it wasn’t made in such a thin design would appear as a hard plastic. It gets its flexibility from the thin lightweight design profile. Rimsavers are a bond on solution and have a semi-gloss smooth appearance that brake dust wipes straight off. Rimsavers have a stiff fitting guide lip on the top side and the 3M VHB (very high bond) tape is sealed from the weather, brake dust, road salt and wheel cleaners by a sealing lip.

BOND ON UNIVERSAL FITTING

Rimsavers are predominantly designed for the modern flat rimmed wheels common today, but will fit rims with a very slight curve if they have a sharp or squared off top edge. They are perfect on most Diamond Cut wheel designs.

Due to the lightweight design, although they use a 5MM wide tape, we have successfully fitted them on narrower flat lips with no issues. Rimsavers require cutting to size during each application and will fit wheels up to and including 24” in diameter. Additionally included in the Rimsavers kit is a set of joint covers and adhesive, so even if you don’t get the cut just right, you can cover where the ends meet.

Kit includes:

1 Length of Rimsavers with factory applied 3M VHB, 1 x IPA cleaning wipe, 1 x adhesion promoter and a colour matched joint cover with adhesive.

Rimsavers are flexible and coiled into a strong 2 part box 16 x 16 x 7cm.
